About RASDEG
RASDEG is a volunteer equestrian community group affiliated with Equestiran Australia and EQ. We run training clinics and competitions primarily in the equine sport of dressage, from beginner with Prep - Walk trot to Official and FEI tests.
Our competitions are mostly held at the Wynnum Pony Club located on Bognor St Tingalpa, and hold events at least once a month.
RASDEG also have SPECIAL EVENTS that we hold at various locations, like Dressage @ Doomben and other events. Check our Calendar or Entry forms for specific detials.
Our members range in age from 7 years up to the grand age of 60+. Our guiding principle is to provide a friendly fun, and safe environment where our members can learn and compete with their horses from the grass roots to official level.
Training Days
Training Days are open to RASDEG Members only. Training Days are informal, friendly days aimed to help you and your horse(s) become accustomed to RASDEG Competition Grounds therefore remove some of the stress associated with a new place. For the more serious competitor and if you have the energy an arena can be setup to help assist you in winning at the RASDEG Competition. For Training Day times look in the newsletter or on the RASDEG webpage.
Members Dressage Days
Members days are open to RASDEG members only. Members days are informal, friendly days aimed at providing a style of competition suitable to all members. For our more serious or competitive members these days provide an informal competition to assist in their training and progress and allow them to try the next level of tests without the pressure of formal competition.
Associate Dressage Days
Associate days are open to RASDEG members and EA register riders (of at least Associate level). These days generally attract riders from clubs within and around south east queensland. Associated riders may be using these days in preparation for Official competitions, or may prefer the less competitive atmosphere of these associate days.
EA Official Dressage Days
Official competitions are open to all EA registered horses and riders. These days are the most prestigious and attract a higher standard of competition. Competitors come from throughout South-East Qld and Northern New South Wales. Official competition days attract a number of riders who will go on to represent Qld in National competitions and some may even go on to represent Australia at International competitions.
