about US

RASDEG is a volunteer equestrian community group affiliated with Equestrian Australia and Equestrian Queensland.  We run training clinics and competitions primarily in the equine sport of dressage, from beginner with Prep - Walk trot to Official and FEI tests. Our competitions are mostly held at the Redlands Horse and Pony Club at 190-262 Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Thornlands 4164, with events held at least once a month.

Our members range in age from 7 years up to the grand age of 60+. Our guiding principle is to provide a friendly fun, and safe environment where our members can learn and compete with their horses from the grass roots to official level.

Members & Participant Dressage Days

Members days are open to RASDEG and EA Participant members. Separate ribbons are offered to EA Participant member riders. Members days are informal, friendly days aimed at providing a style of competition suitable to all members. For our more serious or competitive members these days provide an informal competition to assist in their training and progress and allow them to try the next level of tests without the pressure of formal competition.

EA Official Dressage Competitions

Official competitions are open to all EA registered horses and riders. These days are the most prestigious and attract a higher standard of competition. Competitors come from throughout South-East Qld and Northern New South Wales. Official competition days attract a number of riders who will go on to represent Qld in National competitions and some may even go on to represent Australia at International competitions.
